T1 Peewee Eagels - Seaway Surge Shootout Champions

The T1 Peewee Eagles captured their second title in a row by winning the Seaway Surge Shootout this past weekend near Ottawa. Seaway Shootout (Chesteville, Ont.) hosted their annual Major Peewee tournament which featured 8 teams from across the province, including Seaway, Mississauga, Kanata, Byway, Peterborough, Scarborough, Royal York and your hometown Eagles.
Game One (Friday) was a matchup with Scarborough. Marcus Herbeck pitched 1 run gem as the Eagles edged the stingers 7-1
Game Two (Friday) pitted the Eagles against Bytown (Ottawa). Jack Stott had double-digit strike-outs allowing no hits through 5 innings. Eagles strong offense finished with an 11-1 victory in six innings
Game Three (Saturday) with first place in the division on the line pitted Seaway 2-0 vs 2-0 Halton Hills. Josh Ryder got the 11-5 win over the hometown Surge with an impressive relief pitching and strong hitting performance from Andrew Boksa (4-4).
Game Four (Sunday Semi-Final) was the first division cross-over, a matchup with Kanata. Marcus Herback pitched a complete game (7 Innings) on the way to a 5-1 victory and a spot in the championship final!
Game Five (Sunday) was a rematch with the hometown Surge. The Eagles scored early and often on their way to a 9-3 Victory, Josh Ryder earning the Championship victory, with Jack Stott shutting the door in the 6 & 7th inning with 5 Strike-Outs.
