The Halton Hills Eagles Bantam AA team capped off an amazing season winning the AA OBA championship 4 – 3 against the Oakville A’s in walk off fashion in the bottom of the 8th inning to end an incredible game played by both teams in Guelph, Ontario. Nate Galvao went 2 – 4 with 2 RBI’s and hit a walkoff single with two out and two strikes to score Noah Warkentin from third base to start the celebration. Jack Nelson-Alves pitched 5 2/3rds and the closer Ryan Basha came in for the final 2 1/3rd to get the win for the Eagles. OBA and Team MVP Warkentin hit .609 for the tournament going 14 for 23 with 5 doubles, 2 triples and 11 RBI’s.

The team sponsored by Bayfield Ford (Humberview Group) won 4 tournaments during the year, plus the COBA qualifier, lost one in a semi-final and lost in the final of another in Lewiston, New York. The team played 65 games during the season and finished with a record of 53 wins, 10 losses and 2 ties.
